HaBaWaBa Plus U13: ecco i gironi e il calendario

Quale sarà la prima vincitrice dell’HaBaWaBa Plus U13? La risposta a questa domanda l’avremo solo il 6 gennaio, data di conclusione della prima edizione del torneo dedicato alla categoria Under 13 realizzato da Waterpolo Development con il patrocinio di Fina eConi.

L’evento, al via il 2 gennaio nel Villaggio Ge.Tur di Lignano Sabbiadoro, vedrà la partecipazione di 16 squadre provenienti da 7 differenti paesi: Ungheria, Serbia, Croazia, Montenegro, Spagna, Francia e Italia.

La formula del torneo prevede due fasi. Nella prima (Fase A) le 16 partecipanti sono divise in 4 gironi da 4: tutte le squadre si incontrano con le squadre al interno del loro gruppo all’italiana, ossia, ogni squadra incontra le altre 3 squadre del proprio gruppo.

Girone 1: WPC Partizan (Srb), Les Aiglons de Nice (Fra), Spunzillo Salerno 2003 (Ita), Como (Ita)

Girone 2: FTC Waterpolo (Hun), Academija Cattaro (Mne), Alma Nuoto (Ita), Rari Nantes Verona (Ita)

Girone 3: C.N. Barcelona (Esp), Mentalfitol Szeged (Hun), Spunzillo Salerno 2004 (Ita), Pescara (Ita)

Girone 4: VK Primorje (Cro), YBL Budapest (Hun), Plebiscito Arechi (Ita), Etruria (Ita)

Terminata questa fase, inizia la Fase B, in cui vengono composti 2 gironi all’italiana da 8 squadre: nel primo (B-G1) confluiscono la prima e la seconda classificata di ogni gruppo della Fase A, nel secondo (B-G2) la terza e quarta di ogni gruppo della Fase A. Nella Fase B le squadre conservano i punti conquistati nella Fase A e non affrontano le avversarie già incontrate nella Fase A.

Si aggiudicherà l’HaBaWaBa Plus U13 la prima classificata nel girone B-G1. Il girone B-G2 servirà ad assegnare i piazzamenti dal 9° al 16°.

HaBaWaBa Plus U13: here groups and schedule

The international tournament dedicated to Under 13 players is ready to start: 16 teams from 7 countries will battle for the trophy!   

Who is going to win HaBaWaBa Plus U13 first? We’ll have to wait until January 6^th to answer that question, when the 1^th edition of the tournament created by Waterpolo Development and dedicated to Under 13 water polo players will be finished.

The event organized with the patronage of Fina and Coni will start on January 2^nd at Villaggio Ge.Tur in Lignano Sabbiadoro (Italy).Sixteen teams from 7 different countries will join the tournament: they will come from Hungary, Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro,Spain, France and Italy.

The tournament has two phases. Phase A will consist of 4 groups with 4 teams each: all teams will match with other ones within their group, (“round robin”: each team matches the other 3 teams of their group).

The Phase A groups:

Group 1: WPC Partizan (Srb), Les Aiglons de Nice (Fra), Spunzillo Salerno 2003 (Ita), Como (Ita)

Group 2: FTC Waterpolo (Hun), Academija Cattaro (Mne), Alma Nuoto (Ita), Rari Nantes Verona (Ita)

Once Phase A is finished, we will have Phase B that will consist of 2 groups with 8 teams each (“round robin”): in B-G1 we will have teams placed first and second in every group of Phase A; in B-G2 we will have teams placed third and fourth in every group of Phase A. In Phase B teams will keep the points gained in Phase A and will not match with opponents they have already matched with in Phase A.

The team placed 1st in B-G1 will be the winner of HaBaWaBa Plus U13. B-G2 will define placements from 9 to 16.
