The Belgrade derby and match-up between Primorje and Jug marked day 20 of the regional league, played on Wednesday. In Serbia's capital Partizan walked away with a valuable win over their rivals 12-9 hopefully ending a recent dissapointing streak that came to a close in the Champions League where German record champion Spandau was defeated 8-6, also at home. On Wednesday Dusan Mandic led his team in attack once more as he scored a game-high 5 goals as now all of a sudden Partizan shifted from last place in the championship group to 6th, although joint by Red Star and trailed just a point by Mornar. The big meeting between Primorje and Jug got no winner. A back-and-forth second half was eventually concluded with a 6-6 tie as final score so that no changes were made in the top of the table. Nikola Janovic led the visitors with 3 goals, Petar Muslim netted 2 for the home side. Radnicki and Mladost remained in 3rd and 4th place respectively. Radnicki held off Mornar 12-9 at home while Mladost recorded a big 14-4 blowout of Jadran Herceg Novi in Zagreb. In the relegation group the Montenegrin derby featuring Budva and Primorac was won by the home team 8-4 to join the top teams in the group on points. Jadran Split made no mistake beating Medvescak 13-6 in a solid performance. Vojvodina held back contenders POSK 5-10 thanks to a big 0-5 run in the final period. Dusan Vasic once again was top scorer this time netting 3 shots.
