RVL: Partizan beats Mladost

Partizan has kicked off the year of 2015 with a nice 10-8 victory over rivals Mladost in the Regional league 11th round on Saturday. A critical goal by Ognjen Stojanovic and the dagger by Dusan Mandic in the final seconds secured the welcome win for the young Partizan squad who nevertheless remain in 4th place in group A. Slovenian representative Branik was close to the first points against Budva but the Montenegrins prevailed and won 8-6. The top two sides of group B made no mistake. Leaders Jug rolled past Vojvodina keeping the visitors scoreless in the entire second half en route to a blowout 18-4 triumph. Jadran Herceg Novi won the derby over Primorac 14-7 at home. Radnicki recorded a solid 10-5 win over Jadran Split. Red Star and Medvescak will be in action on Sunday to close out the 11th round action.
